Portugal stocks higher at close of trade; PSI 20 up 0.33% By Investing.com
Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the rose 0.33% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the were Pharol SGPS SA (LS:), which rose 13.88% or 0.0580 points to trade at 0.4760 at the close. Meanwhile, Semapa (LS:) added 3.07% or 0.5150 points to end at 17.3050 and Altri SGPS (LS:) was up 3.04% or 0.1600 points to 5.4260 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were J. Martins SGPS (LS:), which fell 3.19% or 0.5200 points to trade at 15.7950 at the close. Ibersol SGPS (LS:) declined 1.31% or 0.170 points to end at 12.850 and Corticeira Amorim (LS:) was down 0.45% or 0.055 points to 12.135.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 17 to 16 and 8 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for December delivery was down 1.84% or 1.05 to $55.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 2.22% or 1.14 to hit $50.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 6.70 to trade at $1295.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.13% to 1.1843, while EUR/GBP fell 0.36% to 0.8939.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 92.89.
